Telling a story that spans five decades, the 50th anniversary compilation sits across 10 vinyl and 5 CDs – a stunning collectable box set that offers a window into a legendary venue that has helped establish some of the world’s biggest tracks and artists.

The soundtracks of 50 summers are represented across 50 tracks spanning 10 vinyl or 5 CDs. A hand-picked selection reflects the incredible breadth of Amnesia’s cultural influence, featuring music from Donna Summer, Calvin Harris, Paul van Dyk, Candi Staton, Fred Again.., Robert Miles, Laurent Garnier, Binary Finary, and many more, as well as the vinyl exclusive for Maceo Plex’s remix of Faithless’s “Insomnia”. Curated by Amnesia’s long-time resident Les Schmitz, the Amnesia team, and Frederik Emmerechts from N.E.W.S, the compilation has an archival intention, offering a snapshot of the club’s consistent role in amplifying music that shapes culture, genres, and careers. Each track sparks a thousand stories; memories that hold both collective and individual significance. This isn’t a tracklist defined by an algorithm – the hand-picked selection comes from those who were part of the story, determined to document the soundtrack as a testament to the club’s cultural legacy.

From the iconic piano riff of Eric Prydz’ “Pjanoo” to the laid-back groove of “Benediction” by Hot Natured. The compilation tells the musical history of the island as much as it does a club that spans eras and genres – the disco of Chic’s “Good Times” and Candi Staton’s “Young Hearts Run Free”, the new wave of New Order’s “Blue Monday”, or the 90s rave of Human Resource’s “Dominator”.Nights that have sat at the heart of Amnesia’s story are represented here too – Alter Ego’s “Rocker” and “Titelheld” by Extrawelt are synonymous with Sven Väth’s Cocoon, whilst Paul van Dyk’s “For An Angel” and Tiësto’s remix of “Silence” soundtracked Cream’s authoritative role in the history of trance.

The eclectic influence of Amnesia’s original resident Alfredo weaves through the selection with tracks like Joe Smooth’s “Promised Land” and, of course, Amnesia’s “Ibiza”; his legacy as a tastemaker of the Balearic sound underpins much of the compilation, defining the club’s distinct sound ever since. The compilation marks an anniversary that carries a clear message – an invitation to dance from a club that has shaped the lives of everyone who stands on its dancefloor. A place powered by a legacy that has defined dance culture across generations. Since 1976, Amnesia has remained a sanctuary for those who put the room before the image.
