Apple Music has announced a new integrated DJ experience.
Available from today, March 25th, DJ with Apple Music will allow subscribers to build and mix sets directly from the platform’s catalogue of over 100 million songs. The new tool has been launched in collaboration with DJ software and hardware platforms such as AlphaTheta, Serato and inMusic’s Engine DJ, Denon DJ, Numark and RANE DJ.
“This innovation brings the full power of Apple Music into the creative workflow,” said Stephen Campbell, Apple Music’s global head of dance, electronic & DJ mixes. “Making it easier than ever for DJs to access, play and discover music in real time.”
DJ with Apple Music follows on from Apple Music’s DJ Mixes, a programme that was launched in 2021. The brand also introduced Apple Music Club, a dance music-focused radio station, late last year.
