L-Acoustics has announced a spatial audio interface for the DJ booth.
Launching with a series of live demos at the upcoming 2025 Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) — which takes place in the city from 22nd – 26th October — L-Acoustics DJ turns stereo mixes into “fully immersive spatial audio experiences”.
The system, which uses AI-powered audio source separation, is able to separate stereo tracks into discrete stems live, “marking a new era for club sound”.
Max Cooper, who demonstrated the new system at L-Acoustics Keynote 2025, said: “Working with L-Acoustics DJ opens a whole new dimension to my performances. What I appreciate most is how it fits right into my existing setup, and immediately I can place drums, melodies, and vocals throughout the entire space in real time.”
