AlphaTheta, the parent company of Pioneer DJ, has temporarily suspended distribution of the latest CDJ-3000 firmware update (Ver.3.30) after multiple DJs reported critical issues with missing playlists and corrupted data.
Released on October 21, the update introduced OneLibrary, a new feature designed to streamline track management across compatible devices. However, soon after installation, artists including Jaguar, VTSS, and Samurai Breaks reported losing playlists and track data from their USB drives-prompting widespread concern within the DJ community. In response, AlphaTheta issued an official statement apologizing for the disruption and confirming the suspension of the update. “We are aware that some users have experienced issues such as playlists not being displayed after updating… We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” the company wrote.
