Once a tour manager for New Kids On The Block, Roland Clark quietly worked on releases with the likes of Todd Terry whilst soaking up New York’s music scene.

On his 2007 classic, ‘I Get Deep’, the DJ and producer took inspiration from legendary NYC club The Shelter for the lyrics, speaking directly to his feelings and experiences on the dancefloor there. The track went on the be sampled by everyone from Fatboy Slim to Katy Perry, to name but a few.
