The intimate space, which features a Danley sound system, is located above Little River restaurant Fooq.
Miami has a new listening bar.
Located above Fooq, the restaurant in the Little River neighbourhood, Lion’s Den is an intimate vinyl lounge that’s limited to five tables and operates a guestlist-only policy. The space, which draws inspiration from the city’s ’00s club scene, is set with Persian rugs and stools, plus a vinyl wall display and Danley sound system.
Lion’s Den is open Thursday to Sunday, from 10 PM until late. Founders David and Josh Foulquier plan to showcase a combination of local and international talent, with the music policy focusing on disco, funk, soul and house. Forthcoming bookings include Heimlich Knüller, Mark Farina, Nico Bernardini and Nikita Green.
